James Thomas Josephs is a New York City-Based Photographer. A North Jersey native, James decided to attend the School of Visual Arts to enrich his passion for photography. James is interested in photographing a wide range of subjects including architecture, still life, and portraiture. But most recently he has discovered a strong interest in postmortem photography after photographing his grandfathers death. This interest is not unusual considering that he has worked at his familys funeral home since 2001. James plans to continue to work with the theme of death in his photography. He looks forward to collaborating with others in the New York City art community.
