marketing degree, she often found her views were influenced by a designers perspective. Following her true passion, she moved in 2002 to New York to pursue
formal studies at Parsons School of Design. Karen Songs collections are known for their contemporary nature with a distinct feminine style. It is common of
Song to use eclectic elements to create contrast within her garments; tradition and innovation, fluidity and rigidity, imbalance and sequence. Never shy of
pushing the limits of conventional design and construction, the result is clothing that is fresh and uniquely poised with elegance and luxury.
