Francis Flyers Program
The Francis Flyers Program is a dedication to Sadako and the millions of other blood cancer patients around the world. With your help we can keep the dream of hope and peace for the people who need it most. This program is an educational and inspirational project designed for elementary and middle school aged children. Integrating multi-media with traditional print elements allows students to learn while being entertained. Teachers, coaches, advisers and club leaders are encouraged to request a Francis Flyers Program for their students. Students will learn about the story of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by Eleanor Coerr, multiple blood cancers, important FCAT practice and tips and most importantly how to fold their very own paper cranes.All the paper cranes that are created at the end of the program will be sent to both local children's hospitals and the Sadako Peace Memorial in Hiroshima Japan for the annual Peace Day celebration in August. The only way to fully understand this program is to request your very own free Francis Flyers Program package.
