Kings Cultural Center
The Kings Cultural Center is under Kings Regional Traditional Folk Arts which is a public not for profit organization founded to expand the artistic opportunities for the youth of Kings County and surrounding communities. The purpose of the organization is to promote artistic programs (Mariachi music, Folklorico dance, Hip Hop, Salsa Dancing, Painting, and Video documentary) for economically disadvantaged minorities, instill Mexican cultural pride and to broaden an understanding of Mexican heritage. The groups primary activity is the creation, preservation and promotion of traditional ethnic events, presenting an average of 22 community performances annually including Spring and Fall Recitals.
