Street painting Photographs
Street painting artists, known in Italy as I Madonnari, have a long tradition in Europe. For the first time calendars and photographs are now available of this unique and temporary art form. Presented for the first time, I Madonnari 2004 is a celebration of the traditional 16th century Italian art form of street painting. Photographed by Joseph Tedesco this stunning, full color wall calendar presents these temporary masterpieces as never before. Street painters seem to work effortlessly in creating their masterpieces on the streets and sidewalks throughout Europe and the United States. Usually within twenty four hours street cleaners will come by and wash away their creations. The only record of their hard work is in photographs.
