Why does a cloud obscure the sun? This is a zen koan that was the inspiration for the name Cloudfree Photography. Clouds appear and dissappear, situations come and go. This is the nature of the human condition. So often we miss the simple beauty that exists all around us. Through photography I try to create images that capture "cloudfree" moments of beauty and inspire feelings of peace, gratitude and serenity.
I've been passionate about photography for a number of years and started 25 years ago as a part time youth photo journalist in my hometown newspaper. Since then I’ve broadened my interest to capture light, shapes colors and textures as I experience them. They are the rhythm and melodies of the visual world.
