The Trossach’s Craft Brewery was built in 2004 in an outbuilding at the side of the Lade Inn. After 1 year of production in conjunction with the Bridge of Allan Brewery, we are refurbishing the microbrewery to be more efficient for small scale brewing and environment friendly in line with our company values. We are hoping to have the machinery and waste management system in place by June 2006 when you will be able to come and meet our Brewer in action on brewing day. Nothing brings the experience of real ale to life better than the smell of the hops in the mash tun before drinking a pint at our bar.
Our House Real Ales
We’ve created three delicious real ales made from organic ingredients to sell exclusively as our house beer at the Lade Inn.
WayLade (abv 3.9%)- a good flavoured, creamy, blonde bitter with a malty, fruity nose and lightly hopped after taste.
LadeBack (abv 4.5%)- a rounded slightly sweeter, refreshing amber ale that is well balanced with a hop dominated dry finish.
LadeOut (abv 5.1%)- a robust and satisfying dark ale with a complex flavour of liquorice and dark chocolate, that is rewarding on the palate.
