Call me what you will. Ex-hippie, Baby Boomer, Idealist, Liberal, Liberterian, Anarchist, It's all your labels. In my mind I am a free being owing allegiance to no one without my personal voluntary choice to do so. What it is I choose, after that, is my own affair. That I live civly, harm no other, and make my own way is to my credit and no explanation of it is owed anyone. I have learned that the greatest cost of all things on this earth is the price of entitlement. Entitlement to any governing body's rules/laws makes one equally indebted to abide by their system of governance, no matter how insane it becomes. At the present time, I would call the financial and economic systems of our system of governance insane. Seems like someone should do something... LOL (If you didn't get it - that's the joke - the only ones who can do anything is us - so we might as well get about doing it.) By the way, if being a hippie means still believing I can do things my way and have them work perfectly well for me and those around me (peace love all that jazz) then I am still a hippie. ;0
