Tweed River Music Festival - Stockbridge Vermont
Nature as Music Intended - What this is all about is the epitome of what a grass roots Vermont music festival should be. A great weekend of original music, good vibes, and one heck of a party! The great thing about this particular event is that it is being put on by musicians donating there time, there is no big promoter trying to make a buck, and the cost of admissions is to cover the necessities (a list that seems to keep growing). The spirit of this event will dictate if it is successful or not. The best festivals are the ones that are not overhyped or overcrowded. We have a limit to how many folks can come (another reason to get tix in advance); the biggest, most popular festivals were at their best in infancy. This is exactly where we are at with the Tweed: how many places can you show up, pick a camp spot, bring you own cooler, listen to great music, and have access to one of the sweetest swimming holes in the area?!
