Lisa is the author of three collections of poetry including Talking to Trees (Finishing Line Press), and Falling Open
(Alpha Beat Press). She just completed a fourth collection. Her work has appeared in anthologies, literary magazines and journals including Healing Muse,
Cape Rock, Midwest Review, Birmingham Poetry Review, Pegasus, and Connecticut River Review. Lisa’s poetry has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and
her latest collection has been a finalist in three book award contests. She also writes fiction, creative nonfiction and song lyrics and is presently
collaborating with musician Arnie Davidson on a CD, “World of Small Moons.” Lisa has performed her poetry across the U.S. and will be reading in Ireland
this summer as a part of a Surdna Foundation Arts Teacher Fellowship. As a 2009 fellowship recipient, Lisa will be collaborating on a collection of poetry
with an Irish poet.
