Called to Love is a partnership project between the Scottish Catholic Education Service and Healthy Respect. Funded by the Scottish Executive through its departments of Health and Education, the project aims to produce a range of support materials and resources that will empower Catholic secondary schools in the effective delivery of programmes of Relationships and Moral Education. With its basis in the Teachings of the Catholic Church and the Guidelines produced by the Catholic Education Commission, ‘Called to Love’ presents a Christian vision of human sexuality, created in the image and likeness of God, which stresses the sacramental significance of Marriage and encourages our young people to develop the ability to make sound, moral judgements and to apply these in their daily living in showing respect and responsibility to those people whom they relate to.
