Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Sarah attended Bowling Green State University and majored in Biology. She lived in Charleston, South Carolina while attending the College of Charleston 2000. The following summer she moved back, this time with her Cannon AE-1 in hand, and spent the next 2 months photographing her adopted home. Several of the photos taken that summer have been published in Charleston, South Carolina and the Low Country: a Photographic Portrait. The result of that summer was a newly developed passion in picture taking, which she has continued during her travels in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the Azores, Montana, the Lowcountry and the Midwest. She has done solo and group exhibitions in both Columbus and Charleston. Her photography has been featured in South Carolina Wildlife, AZA Currents Magazine, BudgetTravel.com, and on Flip That House on The Discovery Channel. She currently resides in Charleston where she works as a biologist.
