The main causes of lung cancer are tobacco smoking, viral infection, etc. Survival rates have not at all changed in the recent years. The patients who are in the final stage of lung cancer suffer a lot from pain. The patients have difficulty quite often in breathing. Lung cancer is such a disease that can spread to other parts of the body such as liver, spine and brain. Lung cancer is the main cause of the cancer deaths around the world. In the country of USA around 160000 cancer patients have been diagnosed and about 140000 have been detected to be died due to the cause of lung cancer. A person who is suffering from lung cancer before death has tremendous changes. During the last few days before the death, the pulse and blood pressure can become irregular. There can be severe problems of digestion and elimination of wastes. The fluid which contains cancer cells may occupy the space around the lungs which may make the situation of a person very bad. Lung cancer also slowly spreads to other parts such as bones of the chest which in turn cause severe problems. The pain killers help to reduce the pain to a certain extent but not completely. The lung cancer basically occurs near the airways thus the expanding of tumor causes bleeding and creates huge problem in breathing. There are several persons worldwide who die a painful death due to lung cancer. Some die because there is no cure of this disease at last stage and some die because they do not get proper treatment.
