Alex MacDonald Construction is a small custom building company in central Vermont specializing in fine custom homebuilding and renovations. We pride ourselves in our exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, as well as our efficient building practices and scheduling which allow us to stay on budget, and deliver the project on time.
We typically build one project at a time, so you will get our full attention. As the principal owner of the business, I will personally take your project from the estimate and pre-construction to move-in, with a focused, hands-on approach, leading a crew of highly skilled and seasoned carpenters. We know from repetition what works and what does not. While our industry is wrestling with changes, we look forward to incorporating more green products and techniques as well as more energy conserving products into our structures, as budgets allow.
More than anything else, it is the many years of experience paying close attention to detail that sets us apart. The process of building can be a big headache for homeowners for a lot of reasons, but it doesn’t have to be.
