Nile Flow Young Africans NZ. What: Nile Flow is an online network specifically designed for African descendants in New Zealand but welcoming everybody from all backgrounds.
Who: Nile Flow is operated by young individuals who volunteer their time and knowledge for the love of strengthening our African communities here in Aotearoa. Although it is designed for those from African background, we welcome anybody from whatever background or future
Why: Nile Flow has a vision to help create a more unified African community and help our youth live up to their potentials by encouraging them to get their voices across, lead by example and be role models to their younger.
How: Nile Flow received its name as we were trying to come up with something that is of African but also with a good meaning. The Nile River in Africa is arguably the longest river in the world. It feeds off hundreds of smaller rivers in various countries, which all join up to create this great long flow. We believe if all our nations united like these small rivers, motherland Africa will be one powerfully gracious continent just like the river Nile. As we, Africans in New Zealand, unite here, we hope to grow stronger as a community and flow into a better future as one.
