Maureen designs by feel, letting your personality lead the way, mixing your prized possessions with salvaged and new pieces to create an enhanced version of your own style.
Maureen found her calling when she took a barely inhabitable duplex in Los Angeles bustling Melrose shopping district, reinvented it as a glamorous, Golden Age of Hollywood showplace and sold it for more than three times what shed paid.
Maureen thereafter trained at the Architectural Interior Design Program at Santa Monica College, though she believes her innate flexibility and no-drama, get-it-done approach to the design process benefits her clients more than what she acquired in the classroom.
In her current role as principal of Maureen Mahon Interiors, she takes her greatest professional pleasure in spurring her clients creativity with images and swatches and possibilities, gauging their responses and gently guiding them through the many decisions design requires. The result: rooms with good bones.
