PHOTOGRAPHIE | MARIE PREAUD
Marie Preaud, born in France, is recognized by the industry for her inspired and breakthrough work in children's photography. She has earned several awards including the ASMP-NY IMAGE '04. She exhibited at Speos Gallery in Paris, at the light Gallery in New York, at Zero Station, Univerisity of Southern Maine, Ubuntu African Gallery in Portland, Maine and at Gallery Kasten in Germany. Marie Preaud has been involved in an educational as well as a documentary project sponsored by University of Southern Maine called African/Souls. African Souls was inspired in part by Fazal Sheikh's book, 'A sense of common ground'. She's currently working on a book publication Halloween Portraits of Innocence. In October 2008 at Frontier in Brunswick, Marie will have an exhibition from her five years observation of Halloween children's portraits.
