Five thousand years ago, a mysterious civilization, whose temples lay in ruins, recorded in glyphs their version of creation and three subsequent eras of their existence. But World War II interferes in unexpected ways with the young archeologist’s career, opening an opportunity for him to participate in a project to protect the Gulf of Mexico from intrusion by German submarines. Regarding the break more as a disruption, he has no way of foreseeing that the experiences he will subsequently undergo are all part of an ongoing destiny that has been unfolding over the course of centuries. Henry not only discovers his true mission in life, but also his connection to past lifetimes and places.
