I have spent my legal career resolving my clients business disputes in a way which avoided costly litigation and helped them maintain their ongoing relationships with suppliers, customers, joint venture partners, competitors and the government. About Pat Meehan
Dispute Resolution Background: Pat Meehan has served as a neutral on over 30 arbitrations for the Better Business Bureau and the New York Stock Exchange. In over 30 years as an attorney he has represented Fortune 500 corporations in disputes involving domestic and international business and regulatory enforcement actions. He spent the bulk of his career working for The Clorox Company in the Legal Services Department in the Companys Oakland Headquarters (1980-1990 and 1998-2004) and as a Director of Environment and Safety at the Companys Pleasanton Technical Center (1990-1998). He retired from Clorox in 2004 as associate general counsel.
Training: Pat holds degrees in law and master of science (environmental management) from the University of San Francisco. He received his mediation certification training at University of California Berkeley.
Professional Organizations: Pat is a member of the California Bar Association. He is the former president of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel and he has served as a director of the Chemical Specialties Manufacturers Association.
