Welcome to Plan C Photography! My name is Melissa and I have a passion for photography that I can't wait to share with you! Ever since getting my first DSLR in my hands before my 1st child was born, I have been clicking away and learning all I can about photography. Well, that 1st child is now 4 years old and I am ready to share my love of photography with you by helping you capture all those special moments. I absolutely love photographing children even though I think they are the most challenging subjects sometimes. I also adore taking family portraits because there is either a rare occasion that the whole family is photographed together or the one photographer in the family is always behind the lens (that's the case in my family ... you rarely find me in front of the lens).
The name "Plan C Photography" comes from the fact that it always seems that no matter how hard I try to plan things out in life, somehow Plan A doesn't always work, nor does Plan B or C or D ... so maybe I should just start on Plan C and save some time! It's kind of a family joke that we will ask each other "what plan are we on ... B, C, D ... H???" Life is crazy and hectic but I am blessed to have it filled with wonderful family and friends!
