By using the Horizontal directional drill, we provide the customers with a unique way of installing Geothermal heat wells. The typical methods that destroy yards and landscaping can be averted by utilizing this method. Today many homes have extensive landscaping and pristine lawns, which becomes a roadblock for geothermal projects. With Horizontal drilling, this damage can be averted or minimized. Newer homes will typically have there utility room towards the center of the structure, which is another problem. By using horizontal drilling, we are able to guide our drill head right into the mechanical room and make a small hole in the floor to pull the supply/return pipes back outside. The impact to a yard is kept in one centralized location that may or may not be close to the home/building. Flexibility like this, has proven to be a great advantage for installing these loopfields.
