My purpose as an artist is to open dialogue on hypocritical and controversial issues, caused by extreme eastern Islamic fundamentalist views within western society, particularly in regards to the suppression of women and children. Being a conceptual realist, I communicate all of my distress and frustration meticulously through multiple media: paint, text, installations, digital designs and 3-dimensional forms, with the intent to not only foster positive change and awareness, but also to give a voice to those who cannot be heard.
