Sun Pirate Renewable Energy Technician online courses are intended to provide the student technician with fundamental knowledge of solar energy systems in order to prepare for NABCEP certification. Successful completion of these courses does not qualify or certify you to install solar hot water or photovoltaic systems, nor does it replace any local or state licensing or other requirements. School Science Made Easy
School Science Made Easy is not a site for young Einsteins but for students who find high school science a little harder than the average. The cost of a Course is $10AUD. The first course on offer is Level 1 Science, equivalent to the first full year in high school science. It will cover the cost of the 63 tutorials planned for 2010-2011. Each tutorial varies in size from around 30 - 60 slides. There are a few that number over 100 slides. Each slide consists of text, a graphic and in time, sound. The sound consists of a reading of the text. This is designed for students with language and reading difficulties. Each tutorial will accompanied by straight forward questions that are deliberately designed to be easy yet enable effective learning. Presently, practice questions include only True/False selections. In time, questions of a different format will be added.Tutorials that are usable are:Tutorial 1: The Science Laboratory (an introduction to science lab equipment).Tutorial 23: A look at Microscopes.Tutorial 24: What do all Cells Have in Common?Tutorial 25: Once Celled Organisms.
