PMAM, Pennsylvania Multifamily asset managers, a private sector partner of PHFA in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is responsible for the implementation of all asset management core tasks under HUD’s PBCA ACC with PHFA.PMAM is responsible for the PBCA core tasks for 540 contracts, 41,228 units since December of 2000. Under this contract, PMAM and PHFA have undergone four finding free HUD annual compliance reviews and one deficiency-free HUD Inspector General PBCA audit. PMAM has earned every possible incentive with no disincentives in almost four years under the program.
PMAM is a joint venture between Du and Associates, Inc., and Reznick Group. The Du Reznick team brings a team of professionals with very strong backgrounds and extensive experience in all aspects of HUD assisted housing. In particular, its key principals and staff have direct hands-on experience in performing the PBCA functions for HUD, using HUD guidelines and procedures. The Du Reznick team has been and is currently performing PBCA functions for the states of Pennsylvania (PA) and Michigan (MI) . Through its partnership with the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), the Du Reznick team was the first private sector partner in the country to work with HUD in designing the implementation of the PBCA program.
Du and Associates, Inc., is a minority woman owned professional consulting firm providing asset management, underwriting, legislative and other consulting services to the affordable housing industry. The firm brings extensive HUD asset management experience and has provided services to housing authorities and housing finance agencies across the nation.
