An evangelism resources site, 153 Fishes . net is a Christian tracts and Bible study ministry designed for the peoples of South Asia & East Asia. It is an online service and ministry by which the Kenneth Street tracts ministry, with the Street Tracts League of India & India's Mass Media Gospel Mission -- together with diligent ministers in Nepal, Myanmar, and Korea -- all join together with tract-passing evangelists in the glorious work of God's Earthward Outreach. Our tracts-workers are going to local cities, foreign countries, and the far places of the Earth with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Jim Patton's Portfolio
My passion is for people. The person, and also the stuff of that person’s life – the struggles and the whimsy, the successes and the tragedies, the interaction between them and their environment. In capturing that drama, the most fun is getting people involved with making the picture, wanting to be in a shot, enjoying the experience. This has given me a portfolio of amazing, insightful looks into the everyday life of remote cultures.
I started my travel photography with landscapes and monuments. But when I got home, it was always the pictures of people that meant the most, that really captured the spirit of the place. I have been to nearly forty countries. The more remote and the less explored, the better for me. And I love meeting the people.
I was born in Detroit. In a thirty year career at Kodak, I explored virtually every aspect of professional photography – marketing, sales, technology, manufacturing, and photo science. Now, I have built upon this by mastering the elements of digital photography and image creation. I live in Pittsford, NY with Liz, two parrots, and a Mac.
My pictures have been displayed in several shows in Rochester, including “The Face of Indochina” at the Link Gallery in 2005, and “Asian Odyssey” at the Image City Photo Gallery. I am an Artist in Residence at the Image City Photography Gallery. In addition, I have works displayed at Lumiere Photo and at Edibles in Rochester.
My last two trips were The Levant (Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan) in October 2010 and Vietnam in March 2011. I am in the process of pulling together a May 2011 ICPG show with these images.
I am trying to decide on the next trip. Civilization is closing off some of the remove locations and safety argues again others. Ethiopia, the Stans (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) are two possibilities. Turkey would be a third.
