We operate a number of strategies for our Clients. Chief among these is the handling of the Intellectual Property. This idea is similar in essence to pre-sales via a Sales Agent however, in our most popular model , the initial income is from Corporate Investors and not International Distributors. Traditionally, independently financed Films are pre-sold via a sales agent, or in some case an in-house sales capability. Very often, some level of pre-sales is needed at script stage, in order to raise the financing to make the picture. However, there are many, many more projects in development than the number of titles those agents are looking to invest in. Most established agents will be looking for no more than 12-25 movies per year, generally towards the lower end of that scale. Therefore every project is competing with every other project to get onto an agent’s slate, with only a small percentage actually getting a deal. We are looking to “break the mould” because we believe there are real opportunities to make content, successfully beyond the restrictive “traditional” structure followed by the industry for many years. In large part, our approach uses structures, strategies and models common in other businesses around the world. In order to achieve our Clients' aims, we need to be equally innovative and progressive in the approach to selling the product. Similarly stepping outside the traditional movie business “exit route” model, getting past the barriers it creates, and looking at alternatives, which would perhaps not be considered unusual in other businesses.
