He is also an author and teacher who has been written about in professional journals and publications including Newsweek, Architectural Review, National Geographic, Contemporary Architects and Whoâs Who in the World. He is a registered consultant with the World Bank and a member of a number of professional societies internationally. As of September, 2006, he is a Fellow of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, Harvard University.
