Working exclusively in oils, Vincent Calarco uses an array of techniques and styles to express his interpretation of the beauty and mystic of Nantucket such as, but not limited to: The soft, surreal mystery and intrigue of the harbor shrouded in fog. The impressionistic blends of sky and land through the changes of the season. The sharp contrasts of light streaming though the pines and across the moors.
