With the start of Great Southern Builders, LLC over six years ago, Brent Campbell was following what he knew best. After working for large production builders fulfilling what they felt was quota and not quality, he set out to start something for himself. He had learned what it took to make a difference in the building industry from his past experience. He started a company that would focus on integrity with major emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.
Today, Great Southern Builders, LLC is focused on building custom homes and high end renovations of all types of residential structures throughout the greater Charleston area. With having over eighteen years construction experience GSB is a small volume, high-end building company that completes multiple homes each year. Being a smaller volume business allows Great Southern Builders, LLC to maintain a personal relationship with all of their clients.
'It’s not just about having a company and making money. It’s about simply making a living doing what you love, somewhere you love, and giving back to your community' says Brent Campbell.
Brent Campbell has made giving back to his home of Charleston a main priority. One of his greatest examples of this was through the MUSC Children’s Hospital Miracle Home. This home was built by GSB through contributions by vendors and subcontractors. All profits from the sale of the home went back to the Children’s Fund. Great Southern Builders, LLC was able to contribute close to $200,000.00 for this charity alone with this one project.
That is why Great Southern Builders, LLC is about building strong foundations through construction. Whether it’s the construction of an individual’s home, a renovation, or a project that benefits others these two partners aim to make a difference.
