Gestalt Therapy is a holistic, experiential, and interactive psychotherapy that aims to achieve a healthy balance of mind, body, emotions and spirit. Clients gain insights that support self-healing by focusing on awareness of their feelings and behaviors and on their relationship to themselves and others. This approach gently provides the support and tools to effect healthy and positive change. Like life itself, Gestalt therapy is a creative act.
Naaz Hosseini, M.A., is a Certified Gestalt therapist, voice healer and performing artist with a private practice in Manhattan and Nyack. In addition to Gestalt, her training includes craniosacral therapy, authentic movement, kundalini yoga, dance and music. Naaz combines her skills to deliver unique, transformative experiences to groups and individuals that assert, “Your Voice is Your Power” at the Gestalt Center and nationwide. Her highly acclaimed CD, “SoundPath”, is featured in “Dance Magazine Recommends” (March 2004). Her work has benefited adults and teenagers struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, creative blocks, and cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. She conceived and hosted a cable television series entitled, Gurus of Gestalt.
