The Friends of Roundhay Park ( FoRP ) was started in 1994. A Committee was formed, A constitution was written and our Objectives defined;
1. To work for the enhancement, maintenance and Use of Roundhay Park
2. To protect the natural Beauty and help improve the existing facilities and the resources of the Park.
3. To increase Public Awareness in proposed alterations to the Park and its environs.
4 To provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for the recreation and leisure time occupation with the objects of improving the conditions of life for all the inhabitants of Leeds.
We currently have over 400 members.
