Odd Act Theatre Group
Odd Act Theatre Group is a grassroots professional performing group located in central New Jersey. We stage new and experimental plays (specifically those by resident playwright Robert Cousins), and host education programs for students including camps and productions. An important part of Odd Act's mission is to create new and exciting performances that will bring new audiences to the arts. We perform in found spaces, which are sites not traditionally used for theatre but that we transform into performance spaces. Our work seeks to create a total experience that engages our audiences by making them a part of the performance without putting anyone on the spot. Our method guarantees that the performance will change from night to night so that every audience has their own unique experience with the play.
