Using a large range of equipment and techniques it is possible record anything from paintings and sculpture, installations and site specific work to Ceramic and small objects. The very latest digital equipment, together with modern techniques results in images and video at the graphic cutting edge. Understanding emerging media and the technology that drives it, makes it possible to deliver images and video that are ready made for any digital platform. A lifetime spent surrounded by Art has given the insight needed to understand the complexities of both modern and ancient pieces. The technical challenge of an accurate capture of any work of art is at the very heart of the approach I take. This is met by thought and ongoing research into the Science of Optics. The color of light influence all stages of image creation, capture, reproduction and viewing. Combined with a Degree in Fine Art History has provided a strong platform for perfect results. When it comes to making a historic record of Art, only the very best will do. Thanks to advances in digital cameras and computers, I am able to work anywhere there is Art to be photographed. My experience in photography ranges from commercial galleries to collectors, artists to publishers. Both in New York, across the US and also Internationally. Working to Internationally recognised benchmarks, including the most recent ISO standards is more necessary now than at any other time. A close relationship with publishing houses and media outlets mean the correct files are delivered faster, with better results.
