Maple Ridge Care Centre, a nursing home specializing in pulmonary diseases, wound care and physical therapy, offers care for those ventilator dependent and provides advanced respiratory care through a partnership with Southern Illinois University Pulmonology and the Springfield Clinic. We are experts in caring for and rehabilitating post orthopedic surgeries, traumatic brain injuries and bariatric needs for adults of all ages.
Maple Ridge Care Centre is equipped to provide treatment for chronic illnesses, traumatic events or post hospitalization needs. Although we are a long-term care option, we also provide education and training to patients and caregivers transitioning to home. Our on campus apartments are also helpful for those not yet completely independent to go home. Family members who would like to remain close to a loved one recovering from injuries or remaining at Maple Ridge with a chronic illness, may also find our campus apartments ideal.
We are nationally known for our successful ventilator weaning program. Through our board certified internist Ken Sagins, MD and Pulmonologists Jon Mann, MD and Joseph Henkle, MD we work together to provide exemplary individualized care with a 24/7 respiratory therapist. Completing our team is our Medical director, Dennis Caffrey, MD. from the Order of St. Francis (OSF) medical group.
