IHEO | International Honey Exporters Organization
The International Honey Exporters Organization (IHEO) was founded back in 1984 in the Apimondia in Mexico City by three exporter country representatives. After more than 20 years, the IHEO has 17 country-members representing more than 85% of the honey exports in the world. Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Cuba, Hungary, India, Mexico, New Zealand, Salvador, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay and Vietnam have representatives in the organization. The main task of the IHEO is to keep the exporters of the member countries informed of the local honey situation and prices in the main exporter countries. La Organización Internacional de Exportadores de Miel (IHEO) fue fundada en el año de 1984 durante la Apimondia llevada a cabo en la Ciudad de Mexico por representantes de tres países. Después de más de 20 años, la IHEO tiene 17 países miembros que juntos representan el 85% de la miel exportada del mundo. Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Cuba, Hungria, India, Mexico, Nueva Zelanda, Salvador, Turquia, Thailandia, Uruguay y Vietnam cuentan con representantes en la organización. La tarea más importante de la IHEO, es mantener a los exportadores de miel a granel informados de la situacion local y los precios en los principales paises exportadores.
