Arkansas Orthopedics in Jonesboro, Arkansas was established in 1984. The founding physician, John F. Ball, M.D., originally from Iowa, completed his orthopedic surgery training at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. While visiting Jonesboro, Dr. Ball noted the strong sense of community and it's commitment to providing it's citizens the best of medical care and felt this agreed with his personal practice philosophy. Dr. Ball's commitment to service, patient care and state of the art practice provided the foundation for a practice that would rapidly expand.
In 1988, John T. Woloszyn, M.D. joined the practice. Originally from New York State, Dr. Woloszyn trained in Chicago and Detroit. With the partnership of Drs. Ball and Woloszyn, the practice continued to flourish, based on their unwavering commitment to quality care. To better meet the needs of the patients, Arkansas Orthopedics relocated to a new facility located at 1007 East Matthews.
