Murrells Inlet Photos - Pat Walsh
Pat Walsh
Bio: I am blessed to live in a little piece of Paradise, Murrells Inlet South Carolina.
After retiring from the busy life of a Washington DC Firefighter, I vacationed with my wife in Myrtle Beach. Just 12 miles to the south we found this beautiful spot on the map, purchased a home, and have lived here ever since.
What began as a "quaint little fishing village" on an inlet believed to have harbored Blackbeard, the pirate, has grown through the years in population. Yet it has tried to preserve as much of that old village feeling as possible.
Having "retired" for the second time, I took up photography as a hobby. With the Atlantic Ocean on our east and the Inland Waterway and the Wacamaw River to our west, there is no shortage of magnificent wild life, sunrises, sunsets, and, of course, the "quaint little fishing village" and the wonderful people who live here.
My interest in photography has grown along with the desire to explore as much of the area as I can. And along the way, I try to capture as many of these exotic memories as possible. With the beautiful city of Charleston to the south and the Outer Banks to the north, there is no shortage of opportunities to view nature and life at it's finest.
The Galleries attempt to convey the spirit of the Inlet and its surrounds: daily life in a little piece of Paradise.
