Artistic Works by Pauline - Home
As a child Pauline enjoyed her fathers influence whilst he demonstrated to her skillful drawings, caricatures, and calligraphic writings, all of which she has done herself at some point.
In the seventies, she dabbled in oils and produced several landscapes, selling her first painting, and the rest were all snapped up by friends and acquaintances recognizing her natural-born talent. However, her life took a different path and her talents fell by the wayside.
She retired in 2004 after over 30 years in the medical management field and now resides in Florida with her husband Daniel.
Starting anew as a self trained artist, she has a natural instinct and talent and enjoys working in oilsmostly landscapes and waterscapes. Her watercolor flowers are far from run-of-the-mill as she uses heavy, concentrated color with lots of fine details. Her work is non-conforming and reflects her detail oriented personality.
Pauline is realizing her ability, resulting in artistic works that are very enjoyable and can be appreciated for the obvious time and effort involved in their preparation. Now she looks forward to lots of painting whilst enjoying her varied taste in music and the company of her dogs who are never far from her side, at her feet, or below her easel.
Pauline also enjoys writing, putting out some wonderful poetry which reflects her childhood in England, life in the west and bygone days, not to mention some light-hearted prose.
She is a member of the Flagler County Art League and hopes to utilize all the opportunities available to her now that she is in Florida.
If for nothing else my spare time is spent productively, doing what I enjoy the most, listening to what I like the most with my favorite fur-faced friends.
