Jane O'Hara is inspired by nature, specifically animals and
the great outdoors. She is intrigued with exploring animals as spiritual beings--wise, playful, full of integrity. She also enjoys employing both humor and irony to evoke the innocence and spirit of her subjects. By placing animals in a natural setting that is unnatural to them, the artist reflects on the human tendency to move animals from their natural habitat and impose their own surroundings. O'Hara explores the unsuspecting and innocent responses--dignity, confusion, fear, pleasure--when animals are brought to alien places.

Lucas Robert Designs is the creation of Lora Gunn and Shannon Mackintosh and is a direct result of their joint travels to Asia. While visiting Beijing, China for the first time in January 2004, the pair was introduced to the enormity of variations in pearls. Being avid jewelry lovers themselves, they decided to embark on the journey of jewelry design.
