The Thrivers Club
At the height of the global financial crisis last year, several friends urged me to start a “motivational club” where we can all share some fresh ideas and inspirational stories about how people are coping with the current challenges they face in their personal and professional life. I heard amazing stories from close friends who have gone through serious personal crisis (e.g. job loss, health crisis, broken relationship, death in the family, etc.) but who came out stronger and better because of it (I call them “crisis thrivers”). To provide a forum for these “everyday heroes” to share and inspire others with their experiences, I decided to start the “Thrivers Club”.
