Story Circle at Proctors --
The Resident Storytelling Company at Proctors Arts Center.
For years the Capital Region of New York has known Proctors as Proctor's Theatre and Arcade. Fully completed in the fall of 2007, Proctors builds on that history of bringing the best in theatre, dance, music and film to the community. With the addition of two new theatres, the capacity to show 3-d wide screen (Extreme Screen) films, a vibrant Arcade with multiple eating and shopping opportunities and, most importantly, a program of arts, entertainment and education that will be year round and world class, Proctors is the performing arts center of the region!
In 1983, Story Circle was created as a guild with meetings for members to practise works in progress. In 1996, Story Circle produced its first public performance
