Golnaz Shobeiri
Golnaz Shobeiri was born in Tehran and raised in an artistically oriented family. When she was a child, coloring and drawing were her desired hobbies. In middle school, one of the art teachers exposed her to the art of Glass Painting. Immediately she shone like a star in this discipline of art and became the leader in school district art contests. After graduating from high school, Golnaz took courses on design and painting with masters such as Mr. Taeb, Iraj Javanshir. Golnaz participated in the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art's program to Honor Woman's Day and since then she has initiated numerous private and public exhibitions in Tehran and the United States. Her style and vision are rooted in the classic Persian Architecture Tradition celebrating beautiful geometric shapes and colors. In Golnaz Shobeiri's new works you end up gazing upon the greatest poems created by legendary poets such as Hafez, Mawlana and others.
