KP Images-PhotoBlog: Springtime Sky, Spring is finally here, and with its arrival come more beautiful sunsets. The springtime sky produces some of the best ones I get all year long. This one was shot a few days ago after a rainy afternoon. I used shutter priority, then post-processed with a curves adjustment and cropped for pano format.
My apologies - I know it has been awhile since I posted anything. This winter has been pretty rough for me, especially the last couple of months. I developed a serious infection in my right foot, then contracted that horrible respiratory flu while at the urgent care facility waiting to have my foot looked at. By the next morning I was very, very sick, and it took about 10 days for me to get over the flu and get the infection under control. At the same time, the road I live on was in terrible shape (mud and 2' ruts in places), and was impassable in spots, which left me sick and trapped up on this hill - even my 4WD vehicle was bogging down in the mud. A few days later, I had another big snowstorm roll in, which dumped another 15' of snow. I was still sick, so my neighbor down the road came up with his farm tractor and dug me out (literally) - I had drifts 3' deep in the driveway. I'm finally on the mend, and the weather has improved enough that the road is solid again. Living in the country is beautiful, but very challenging at times!
