One of the first pictures I remember taking was of a plane landing at Newark Airport. I was on a class trip to the Statue of Liberty and a plane was just about to land, and I wanted to capture the moment the plane landed and the smoke rose from the tires. I got the shot and have been hooked ever since on capturing moments in time that will not be repeated.
That moment in time can be during a sporting event, a wedding day celebration or mother nature in her glory. While I love to capture and preserve that split second in time, I also like to capture motion over time. Some of my images are of water flowing over rocks or lights over a longer exposure , these create images that the eye cant process, but the camera can capture.
