I was born in southern CA and grew up in Lakewood and Gardena California. I started taking photos when I was about 8 yrs old. I took photos at a wedding when I was about 9 yrs old. They liked my photos and made copies to give to friends.
I am married to my soul mate and the love of my life. We met on line on KISS.Com in 2001. We have six gown children between us and four grandchildren. I am proud to say we are a Military family. My husband served 20 years in the Air Force, his daughter served four years in the AF. My daughter has been in the AF for five years and her husband has been in the AF for 19 year. We love and support our Military woman and men. I want to thank anyone who has served or is serving now. God Bless our troops and the people who support them.
I feel that photography is one of the many blessings that God has given me. I love to share my photography with others. I enjoy taking family photos, and Military photos. About the only photos I rarely take are wedding photos. I don't want to worry about something happening to my memory card and loosing wedding photos.

Hello friends, clients, and potential customers! Welcome to the newest installation of my photography web adventures!
To start, I'm a high school English and journalism teacher/part-time photographer. I do weddings,engagement pictures, family portraits, senior pictures, maternity sessions, prom photos, team pictures, and even photograph the occasional random event(I have done Surprise Party's, Dog Shows, Family Reunions, and more).
While I love seeing my work make people happy, what many are surprised to learn about me is that I REALLY love travel photography and capturing the essence of a place I am visiting. If I didn't have to earn a paycheck, I would love to spend my days wandering the earth and photographing the beauty it has to offer.
As you will see from looking at my work, I thoroughly enjoy macro photography of flora and fauna and use every opportunity I get to explore this realm.
I recently upgraded my camera to the Canon 40D and added the IS 28-135mm lens to my collection. As I am a poor teacher who spends what extra money she has on travel, I am (Was) only shooting with a Canon Digital Rebel XT. I have three other lenses I use: a Canon EF-S 18-55mm lens, a Canon EF Zoom 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 IS lens, and a Sigma MACRO 50mm F2.8 EX DG lens.
Enjoy your look around. I will try to update regularly, but these things tend to go in spurts for me, so be patient. In the meantime, Happy Snapping.
