My name is Alison Althouse and I am a free-lance photographer who loves to take sports pictures. I learn more about my craft with each new assignment and find the most fun in the challenge of capturing the action of a game.
My favorite subjects have been my two boys and their friends. They've taught me to find the passion and art of sport in a digital form. A new world open to me with my photography. Encompassing the beauty, colors, shading and lighting of what I see around me, I never noticed before photography.
I am fortunate, receiving extensive mentoring, helping me learn the fine techniques of photography. Learning has been an on going progress I am enjoying and plan to continue.
Using my Canon 40D and 7D along with assorted lens, filters and programs. I enjoy exploring, capturing images of scenery, flowers, nature, events, travels and people. Many of my photos are taken of our beautiful state, New Hampshire and surrounding New England states.
