Hi, I'm Wendell Franks. In 2008, my family and I escaped the heat and crime of Dallas, Texas and settled into our wonderful new hometown of Maryville, Tennessee. ("We
feel like we've died and gone to Heaven," I tell anyone who will listen.)
I've been a photographer for over 30 years. I've shot for newspapers, photographed portraits and weddings, and years ago I taught photography at Dallas Baptist College.
We now have a stock photography business that provides images to newspapers,
magazines and websites around the world through our stock website

I grew up around a Pontiac dealership in the day of the real GTOs ("Here come de' Judge," remember?) and learned to drive a stick shift on a brand-new '69 Firebird 400 Ram Air IV convertible. I've always appreciated enthusiast vehicles and recently decided to direct a portion of my photographic efforts toward trying to
show other folks the beauty I see in some of our culture's rolling sculptures.
