Legare farms is a family farm that has been continually operating since 1725. Linda, Helen, and Thomas Legare are the ninth generation of Legares to farm on Johns Island.
Legare Farms produces sod, hormone free beef, local produce, jams & jellies, & runs a full scale grower's nursery, as well as hosts a 501(c)3 education foundation that provides school field trips, community educational opportunities, & special events.
The mission of Legare Farms Education Foundation is to help raise awareness and educate Charleston SC and surrounding Lowcountry communities and school children on the agricultural heritage of this region and the need to maintain this legacy for future generations.

I shoot with the Canon EOS-1D Mark III. The pictures I have posted here are the journey that I have taken in the past 4 years as I begin my interest as a photographer. I have not had any formal training. I am self taught though reading, guided by experienced professional photographers in addition, invested years of practice and patience shooting photos. I now invite you into my eyes sharing what I have seen in my life with my friends, family and co-workers.
