Wanda Pelayo: My works are on paper or on paper on panel. I use mostly handmade papers and I just love the feeling of handling a beautiful sheet of paper that I pull from my flat files of papers I collected for years. I do prints in my Studio with my large printing press and I also work with water media, watercolor, gouache or acrylic paints. Charcoal, chalk, pastels, graphite, color pencils and ink are materials I use for drawings or to alter or finish a printed work. Objects and my photos digitally scanned also form part of the process and I use these images in transparencies for my plates or printed for collage.
