Fundación Extra Bases
La fundación Extra Bases, es una organización sin fines de lucro creada por el pelotero puertorriqueño Carlos Delgado con el fin de recaudar fondos para ayudar a los más necesitados. Su misión es ayudar a individuos y entidades que prestan servicios a personas, tanto en Puerto Rico como en el extranjero, que necesitan recursos para mejorar su calidad de vida. Esto, siempre y cuando las peticiones reúnan los criterios de la organización y los fondos estén disponibles.

North Texas Collegiate Umpire Association
The North Texas Collegiate Umpires’ Association (NTCUA) was created in 1993. The association was organized to meet several needs and conditions that existed in college umpiring in north-central Texas. NTCUA began accepting school schedules for the 1994 season using an elected board of directors to operate the association and a non-working umpire as a scheduler. The association has evolved to become one of the strongest regional umpires’ associations in the country. In 2009, the membership includes more than 15 NCAA Division I conference umpires, including several with regional, super-regional and College World Series experience. At least six members are current or former professional baseball umpires from affiliated and independent minor leagues.
